Krystal Simmons is an education expert who researches crisis prevention and intervention, education of minority populations, parent involvement in education, and school interventions for disruptive behavior disorders. She is able to comment on developmentally appropriate ways to talk to children about COVID-19 and to provide recommendations on how to monitor and minimize concerning behavior (such as anxiety).
