Biography
Dr. Nasir Gharaibeh is an expert in civil engineering, urban systems, and natural hazards. His research is centered on improving the performance and resilience of infrastructure systems through optimal maintenance and renewal strategies. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in civil engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, and his Ph.D in civil engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He has published multiple scholarly articles, informing infrastructure systems planning and engineering decisions, such as those related to resource allocation, maintenance and renewal planning and project selection.
