Dr. Sarah Stuber is an experienced researcher in financial accounting, with a particular focus on the quality of accounting estimates and audits within the banking and insurance industries. Dr. Stuber’s work critically examines how accounting practices impact the reliability of financial reporting and the effectiveness of audits. Her research has been published in top academic journals, including the Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, and The Accounting Review. Dr. Stuber's contributions to the field have been recognized with prestigious awards, such as the Edward P. Swanson Accounting Research Excellence Award and the Montague-Center for Teaching Excellence Scholar title at Texas A&M. She is also a certified public accountant in North Dakota, bringing practical experience to her academic pursuits. Before her academic career, Dr. Stuber worked in public accounting, where she specialized in auditing services for financial institutions, both public and private.
