Biography
Shelley White-Corey’s research interests include perinatal depression, maternal mortality and interprofessional practice. She is a clinical assistant professor at the Texas A&M School of Nursing. White-Corey received her BS in nursing from Indiana University/Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI) and MS in nursing, women's health care nurse practitioner from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in nursing practice at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. White-Corey is a board certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). She holds specialty certifications in Inpatient Obstetrics and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
