Biography
Liu’s primary research focus is to develop chemical biology techniques for basic epigenetic research, cancer drug discovery, and biotechnological applications. His group was the first to point out that remdesivir is the only drug that can be used to directly inhibit the SARS-CoV-2 proliferation in human patients and currently is actively working on the development of both peptide and small-molecule inhibitors for the virus. He is available to discuss medicines to treat COVID-19 and his group’s related research.
