Football Thursday 2019 Update

Texas A&M will once again host its first game of the football season on a Thursday as the university announced the Aggies will play Texas State on Thursday, August 29.

Harold Adams, a College of Architecture graduate in the class of 1961 who joined Texas A&M's faculty in 2018, will receive an honorary doctorate during spring commencement.

Technology Commercialization also honors 53 faculty members and other researchers in The Texas A&M System for securing patents for their inventions during 2018.

Backed by former students, the plaza will honor the Aggie Traditions of Muster and Silver Taps, as well as the Aggie Code of Honor and Core Values.

Johnson joined the Texas A&M faculty in September 2012, was named head of Texas A&M Statistics in March 2014 and has been serving as interim dean of Texas A&M Science since July 1, 2018.

More than 400 former students and friends of professor Rodney Hill gathered at the Ice House on Main in Bryan to celebrate the renowned architect, environmental psychologist and futurist.
